I think people confuse the term "regression" with "getting worse." regression - the act of going back to a previous place or state; return or reversion. So either they're saying he's going to return to what he did last season - I'm honestly ok with that - or they say he's going to be a reliever. Someone in the Diamond Club got peeved that I used the term pentultimate wrong; I get peeved when people use regression wrong, and this happens far, far more often.
