Because for some f***ing reason Robin loves bunting more than Ozzie!?!

That doesn't seem possible.

I'm still totally lost, as to why you'd want Alexei to bunt, and leave the RBI work up to Gimenez...why??

Gimenez isn't a bad hitter.

In a 0-0 in the 8th, yeah bunt, hit to the right side, whatever...get the job done.

Nice garbage swing De Aza

And that's how we lose this ball game. Moving on...

AR fails bunting way too much. Cleveland due to score.

And here is the half inning where we get punished for not executing, with a bloop RBI or something from CLE.

And there's my reminder of why I hate the bunt.

Honestly, I think Robin likes small ball more than pre World Series Ozzie.

Nobody on this team deserves to have any fan support tonight other than Rios, Gillaspie and Quintana.

God, this is awful baseball and managing. Just pathetic. The marketing department has to be cringing and hoping nobody's paying attention.

By the way, Masterson has beaten the reigning Cy Young winners in back-to-back starts. Although RA Dickey's not your typical winner and might...will more likely regress to his career norms.

I didnt realize we lost already

This lack of hitting with RISP is hard to watch. Just too many easy outs in this lineup right now.

The gas can is on to ice it for CLE!

Good line by Hawk: "We can't execute and we can't score."

How many years is it in a row now, no matter who is the manager, we can't bunt?? Sox might as well not even try to bunt. No reason to try.

We are paying attention and will all year.

Just assuming that inning will catch up to us.

Doesn't help when the manager is giving away outs.

Correct! If guys aren't good at the bunt, don't ask them to!

At least Q dealt with the middle of their order, that's something.

But back in Robin's day everyone could bunt!

Rich Hill is still in baseball?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?????!

Gimenez did have a 764 OPS at Charlotte last year and double digit homers....but he's usually been a sub 700 OPS guy even in the minors.

Plus, the weather's absolutely terrible and he has been sitting on the bench for most of the season.

Knowing your personnel, if you have that move to make 100 times, I'll cross my fingers and let Ramirez hit away...and take 3 chances at it, rather than putting all the pressure on Hector.

It's not a HORRIBLE play, but with Ramirez's inability to execute and Gimenez following him, it's not nearly so logical.

Not living in Chicago makes it hard for you to sense just how little buzz there is about the Sox this year.

On the bright side helluva 7 innings for Q.

Yes sir, in the long run, probably more important than the final result tonight.
