If Keppinger can't outplay Paul Konerko at 1B, we should revisit the logic of that signing

Keppinger was signed to play 3B/2B. Gillaspie was brought in to play 3B/1B. Beckham getting hurt changed that.

The logic of projecting full time stats for a part time player was the flawed logic

The strategy is to rebuild on the fly. This strategy only works if you either tradeable assets and/or a decent minor league.

I say the strategy this season was more "maintain". I think we'll see more of a rebuild next year and then start to add more pieces with more money coming off the books.

Alejandro needs to stop swinging for the fences.

ADA striking out at an alarming rate. That pitch was right down the plate.

Come on Kepp......gapper please.

Hit a HR you bum.

Casual fans at the game watching this crap will not be back product is ultra boring right now...........14 K's on offense just horrid another 1 run loss great job Robin.

That was brutal.

First loss with a homer. YAY!

You really had to try hard to lose this game.

Konerko scoops that easily. He makes that play quite a bit.

Please. Ball bounced too far in front for it to be scooped "easily".

Thatll do it. Thanks Jeff.

Yay, keep batting Keppinger 2nd and Dunn 4th. Awful offensive performance, this team is lifeless this season.

Lots and lots of strikeouts.

It's simply amazing how much last year's collapse has continued into this season.

JR stuck with Williams about two years too long. Hahn has nothing to work with. I predict that it will be a short stay for Rick in Chicago.

Kepp really having a great start to his 2013 season.

wow, what a f***ing disaster Keppinger is. Whoever said it earlier is right, the guy's a bench player, not a starter.

Tough day. Here's hoping things change soon. Lots of players playing a lot differently than we expected, and not really any of them exceeding expectations short of Gillaspie (hasn't produced much) and maybe Rios, who seems to just be replicating last season.

Yes because this is the first time Konerko has handled an Alexei short hop.

Hector Santiago. 0-1, 0.00 ERA, 0.47 WHIP. He must love being on this team.

Have fun polishing this turd Rick Hahn.

Keppinger got paid. Guess he's set.
