Lexi with the high IQ slide there.

Juan Pierre did it with so much frequency, it always surprised me other guys don't do it.

Speaking of Bullpen ERAs......

Cardinals have the #1 Starter ERA (2.38), and the #29 Bullpen ERA (5.37). Crazy.

A friend of mine in Carbondale always posts on FB during Cardinals games, it is nothing but extreme highs and lows for him

Sox shouldn't be in a situation where they can't have PH for the 25th man on the roster when a LOOGY comes in.

I was just thinking that. With the injuries and call up of Danks and Tekotte now we're too left handed .

Thornton warming up! Run 4 cover

It has to be a bluff.

LOL hawk annoyed about the outfielders almost colliding

He should be, that's happened way, way too often already this season, it's only a matter of time before someone really gets hurt.

seems like EVERY game is close

seems like EVERY game is close

The Sox have played 10 one run games out of 19 total games. Two other teams have played in 8, but they have played in 21 and 22 game respectively. They also have 4 2 run games, and three 3 run games. For the record that is two out of 19 games that were decided by more than 3 runs.

omfg thorton

Why not Santiago?!?!?!?!

Please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't de aza involved in the majority? Like him not yielding after he's called off

He almost has to be if it involves 2 OF's...

But when he's playing CF, he shouldn't be the one yielding, that's the rule.

Thornton did his job

Well thank God Robin didn't leave Thornton in to give up a bomb to Reynolds.

+1 Robin.

Thornton did his job

I was hoping he'd save him for the 9th, just to watch my computer melt

seriously tho, give Robin credit for coming back and showing confidence in his guy. That's good managing, imo.
