How is he the type of hitter this team needs? He's another less 5% walk rate outfielder. He's like an average defensive Dayan Viciedo but without the major league success.

On its face, MAJOR FAIL. 2.5 years of Peavy possiblly for the Red Sox and they only have to give up a mediocre SS who they have no use for because their top prospect plays the same position.
