October 26, 201312 yr Wow. I forgot Damaso and Blum. BLUM! I'm most disappointed that I forgot Blum. Damaso wasn't as important to that team as he was to other Sox teams, so I can see why I forgot him. Jeez, I suck. I just watched that home run yesterday on youtube.

Happy 8 year anniversary to the greatest baseball team the city has Chicago has seen in very long time, certainly in my lifetime. I can vividly remember being at BW3s with my family watching the WS clincher as the ball bounced over the head of Jenks, and Uribe corralled it and fired across his body to record the final out and return glory to the city. Possibly the greatest playoff team in postseason history, anchored by one of the greatest playoff rotations. Here's to the legends of yesteryear and the future heroes of today. Happy 8 years, '05 Chicago White Sox. Don't stop believin'.
