Not to be a stereotypical Illinois fan, but these refs suck!

That blown pass interference on the pick 6 is killing us.

Can't blame the refs for this brutal kicking game though. Why even attempt those 40 + yarders?

7 points missed by kicks in the first half, ugh.

@SLGREENBERG LaTech kicker misses left by half a mile. No word on whether or not Illinois has offered him a scholarship.

Illini should be up by about 50 right now

Classic illinois football: force a fumble, recover, fumble yourself and lose it. Would've been a turnover on downs and instead they get the ball back and have 2 huge plays and eventually score. Pathetic.

That double fumble play sums up the Illinois Football experience

If they could hit a field goal, or if they called the pass interference on the interception, we'd be right in it. Oh well, at least we didn't look like a terrible football team today. Progress?

They aren't playing a good team. Cody Sokol was the 3rd or 4th string QB at Iowa, and Iowa isn't very good. Bad teams miss kicks and fumble at bad times. There were extra practices, maybe they can grow, but ultimately, they won't be good until they get a different coach.

I agree. But, for better or for worse, we're stuck with him for one more year. I'll settle for not embarrassing.

B1G 0-1 so far, let's see what Rutgers is made of

Illinois has two good running backs if not one that's real good but just a horrifically bad quarterback. That's not a recipe for success. Also the defense is really badly coached. I'm not sure it's a talent issue as much as scheme and assignments.

Fire Tim Banks please.

It's H4ppening

Looks like it. They sure went for it.

I'm curious how the recruiting class changes now. I don't follow college recruiting outside of Chicago so wouldn't even know the kids they do get outside a few.

Sounds like the Florida DC is coming with and possibly Wheatley, who I didn't even know was coaching.

Looks like that alcoholic Moeller too? At least We'll know how to distract him before the game.

Harbaugh isn't going back to college. He watched his brother John and Pete Carroll win the Lombardi. He's staying in the NFL. Michigan had to leak that number to show their fan base that the offer was made.

Looks like you were wrong. Harbaugh to Michigan official according to Schefter. http://m.espn.go.com/ncf/story?storyId=120...com%2F"%7D

So in the East you have Meyer, D'Antonio, Franklin, and Harbaugh. In the West, you have Kill, Riley, Ferentz, & Beckham. It's the SEC, just East/West flip flopped.

It will be a battle.

BREAKING NEWS: Straight from UM AD Jim Hackett. Harbaugh's salary will be roughly $5M a year, plus incentives, same basic contract as 49ers.

I think they will be again. Charlie Strong is a good coach.
