Figures it'll be Olsen who kills us.

I still hate Mike Martz for forcing that trade

Safety coverage on defense has been non existent 2 years running.

I've never seen a dumber special teams group.

They have no clue what they're doing out there.

I'm a pretty big fan of Trestman but we have had an extremely conservative offense yet we still make all the mistakes associated with a high risk one

You have a moron leading the offense so... Trestman can't keep Jay from making "f*** it I'm Jay Cutler" decisons.

this team is bad

Mel Tucker take notes on how to pressure a QB

Now what?

Yep, hard to win with such a bad defense and special teams.

Now what?

If it follows rest of 2nd half, either an INT or 4 yard pass to Forte covered by the LB.

Ugh

Bad loss to a very bad Carolina team

What a heartless 2nd half by Cutler and this offense.

This offense should be producing much more than it is.

Um...hard to win when your highly paid offense only puts up 24 points (3 in the 2nd half) and turns the ball over what, 3-4 times again?

Im officially done defending Cutler and this entire coaching staff blows.

Its basketball/hockey season. That's what.

Yeah nice extension. Jay is such a f***ing loser.

Time to question MT abilty to be a head coach in the NFL. Has to be a reason he was out of NFL so long. I am not that impressed with the 10-11 record he has.

The defense was easily the strongest part of the team today. I have no clue how you could watch this game and walk away saying the defense blew it. The offense would have scored ~13 points if not for the defense giving them field position and the defense gave up 2 TD that weren't clearly the product of turnovers by the offense.

The defense was mediocre, IMO. Tucker going to the prevent at the end of the half seemed to give Carolina all the momentum. I don't think the prevent defense worked for a single team this weekend in football.

There'll be a little shifting around from other games, but through 5 games, the Bears offense will be in the bottom 1/2 of the league in both yards/game and points/game at the end of this weekend.

Their D will be about 20th in yards/game and 23-25 in points/game, both an improvement over last year, and of course the points/game is impacted by things like special teams and turnovers as well.

This defense isn't spectacular but it's been upgraded from last year where it was 29th/30th in the NFL in this categories and reached the level it was supposed to reach for that spectacular offense to carry it to a lot of wins.

This team is not supposed to win games on defense. The defense is supposed to not lose games so that the offense can win them. That's how it was built.
