Yeah, they suck. Hope it's the weather.

Sadly this is exactly what I expected out of Lindstrom. This is what he did last year while mopping up and setting up. Just can't trust the guy

They're not good. That was pretty well known coming in. Nothing to be done about it unless the team is somehow looking like a contender. Almost sweeping the Twins doesn't cut it from my perspective.

If the things that prevent us from being a good team are not the failures of the young talent we acquired, but underperforming veteran relievers or AAAA pitchers, then I will be able to watch this season happily.

Jones is just brutal. I agree with someone on the other thread said about his delivery. I can't understand why he pitches backwards.

Haha, Jones always bugs Greg so much with that delivery.

Then we have Cleto, who has a million dollar arm and zero idea of where the ball is going.

Plouffe really laid in the weeds on those two fastballs from both Cleto and Lindstrom. Predictable outcomes. Just surprised we didn't give away the lead completely in the 7th when Eaton made that catch in center.

Five batters faced so far on the season and no outs.

And he was the favorite to be the closer two weeks ago.

What are Ryan Bukvich and Andy Sisco doing these days?

Along with David Aardsma, two names that I will forever associate with when this dark period of Sox baseball began.

Nate Jones can't be trusted in any game situation (other than mop up) and that makes him a bullpen killer.

I can throw strikes. Only can throw 70 MPH but can throw strikes. Sign me up!

LOL.

Every pitcher out of the pen right now is a "bullpen killer" at the moment.

Doesn't really matter when they enter the game.

Still, it's a lot better than when Thornton and Hector Santiago were blowing those early April/May games. This situation has been a LOT more predictable.

Favorite by the media maybe.

I guess but Steve Stone was pretty unequivocal when he said Jones would be the starter, so I was surprised with Lindstrom.

Jones did the same thing last season. He was pretty brutal in April & May and then was lights out from there.

Hopefully he rebounds.

Fire Don Cooper. These guys need a different voice. I learned that here,

Well now we know Nate Jones problem....injury from spring training came back

What a pain in the ass.

I just hope it's the cold weather. All bullpens are going to look bad once in awhile and I hope we get it out of the way early

This is why you need good starting pitching that can go deep into games. That's why I see Sox drafting a pitcher come draft day.

I just have two words.

Addison.

Reed.

LOL

Expand on that please? He already has blown a save for Arizona.

Thank you for that. Maybe people couldn't make it through the entirety of last season, but there were stretches where he looked solid. I'm not ready to give up on him just yet.
