3 against the Astros could be just what we need to get on a roll.

McHugh's been pretty legit thus far. At least we won't have to go up against Keuchel this series.

10 consecutive games and 13 of the next 16 games all against teams not in the playoffs last year. Hopefully Sox can capitalize on this.

Abreu is out most likely, need Dunn and Konerko to step it up.

Hawk and Paciorek on the call from Houston tonight. Stone has the series off. 7:10 first pitch.

Abreu is playing afterall. He best be feeling great.

Abreu doesn't want to sit. The man gets what he wants.

This is one time Robin should be a manager and make the right decision as a manager.

I respect a man who feels he needs to earn his 68 million dollars.

I can agree with this. I also would respect a manager who is willing to tell him no.

And sometimes taking a day off puts you in a position to better earn that money

I understand that Robin is kind of a player's manager and he probably puts too much in his player's hands, but at the same time, you have to assume that Abreu is at least feeling a little better or he wouldn't be playing. Plus, he's going to be off the ankle most of the game anyways. I doubt he's going to push it.

I think Abreu is feeling better and that 24+ hours off helped him a lot. I am sure he gets treatment before and after games.. He seems fine so let him play

Yea I'm a little confused. Robin tells the media he's going to get a day off then he doesn't get a day off.

I don't care either way but you can't say something publicly then not do it, that's just bad for everyone. Either keep it in the clubhouse or do what you say you're going to do.

As for Jose, he's the man, that simple.

I'm with you B. In this particular season, no reason not to be extra careful.

Jose did have yesterday off. Robin didn't lie.

Haven't started watching yet, but I trust Hawk has already kissed Bo Porter's ass.

Wow Gordon looked silly there.

Abreu makes me so angry when he swings at off-speed out of the zone but then so happy when he hits those bombs and rockets.

Mets/Rockies look to be quite wrong on McHugh.

What kind of AB was that by Alexei?

This team needs to start hitting better early in games

Viciedo hit it right at Dominguez? Hard or soft liner?
