With all due respect, you're not qualified to call a player a good or bad defender. Have you ever even seen him play?

By that logic, are any of us here qualified to say anything about baseball ever? He's a really bad defender. It's kind of obvious.

Poor Tyler can't hit anymore. That 2-1 pitch was a cookie.

I cringe whenever Tyler has a full count now... it seems like he's swinging regardless of location

Awful at bat by Flowers.

I haven't seen them do it this season either.

That's because nobody does it

Flowers sucks.

Unreal how much he guesses at the plate

Ya, flowers is awful

If that was true then why don't other managers do it? Tell me, when is the last time you saw a manager pull a pitcher after throwing a second ball? I haven't seen it once this season

I've only seen them do it if there is an injury (or if they believe it is and the pitcher is hiding it). Usually they let their guy dictate the AB to the hitter. One of the unwritten rules if you will.

The top levels of sport are very risk-averse places. Often people will not do something simply because it's not usually done, e.g. going for it on 4th down.

Unreal how much he guesses at the plate

yet his BABIP remains the same

If Tyler can hit .250 he's a big leaguer. .220ish won't cut it.

Go away Flowers!

No, I've never watched him play. This is my first White Sox game and there is an unfortunately large spider on my screen which is blocking right field.

Flowers 2 for his last 31, and both were homers (16 K)

Tyler's chances of making the all star team are starting to disappear.

Tyler's now somehow hitting 4% below league average despite that huge BABIP. It's kind of impressive.

The funniest part is, he actually did have a chance. The AL catchers are so bad.

Adam Eaton!

Spanky be killin it this game

eaton1\!!!111!

Tyler's chances of making the Sox next year are starting to disappear.

Nice hit by Eaton off this lousy stiff reliever.
