We should start signing these mini guards to multi year deals, and they all need to give half of their future pay checks to Thibs. It's a shame Brooks will be out of our price range again next year.

Thibs' system was designed around Rose, so microwave scoring PGs seem to flourish.

Part is this, the other part is it's just not hard to find undersized scoring guards. They are everywhere, they are cheap, they just can't play starter minutes because of defense. Thibs is just better than most at covering this up.

For the sake of continuity and the opportunity to learn the system better both offensively and especially defensively, I'd prefer if we have these guards stay for multiple years, if they are willing to sign. Then again, both Nate and DJ got salary doubled after playing here for 1 year, so it won't be easy to get them to commit to multi year deals.
