October 17, 201411 yr SOB! Tuesday? Fuuuuuuck! Thats so far away. No baseball til Tuesday sucks. Lame...
October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 16, 2014 -> 11:11 PM) Should be good. Starts Tuesday in KC. Long layover. I was thinking Monday
October 17, 201411 yr I know the Royals are hot but their offense doesn't seem to be. Giants getting just as many clutch hits. Home team wins all the games except Game 7, meaning Giants in 7. Edited October 17, 201411 yr by Brian
October 17, 201411 yr First WS in a long time, in a non strike year, that features no 90 win teams. This will also be the first postseason where the WS champion has won 12 games.
October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (StRoostifer @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 02:03 AM) SOB! Tuesday? Fuuuuuuck! Thats so far away. No baseball til Tuesday sucks. Lame... Agreed. Wish there was a weekend game

October 17, 201411 yr since the sox didn't make it, I really haven't been keeping up. but KC? way to go. great job. out of nowhere, esp with the favorites playing, kicking the butt of Balt. now with the Gaints, beating STL, what a burn in Missouri. this WS may be fun to watch, just maybe. October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (shysocks @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 07:42 AM) Second consecutive World Series for Peavy. PROVES WHAT A LEADER HE IS He was the first one to hug Ishikawa last night. LEADERSHIP FROM THE BULLDOG
October 17, 201411 yr Hahn needs to offer Peavy a 10 year incentive laden deal that maxes out at 100 million. All incentives are leadership based
October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 08:04 AM) Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. So Bumgarner in game 1 on normal rest? I would imagine, how convenient. Bumgarner vs. Shields game 1 should be good.
October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (shysocks @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 06:42 AM) Second consecutive World Series for Peavy. PROVES WHAT A LEADER HE IS. The O-Cab of pitchers.
October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 08:04 AM) Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. So Bumgarner in game 1 on normal rest? Yeah I'm pretty sure they have said that already. It's hard to believe, but the Giants have done all this without Cain and Lincecum pitching. I know their not what they used to be but still pretty remarkable. I've got the Giants in 7.
October 17, 201411 yr This entire postseason has been terrific. KC looks fated to win it. Royals in 6.
October 17, 201411 yr QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 10:24 AM) KC Sweep, they are the terminators at this point and unstoppable. But the terminators are always stopped
October 17, 201411 yr Also, KC has managed exactly one blowout in the whole postseason. They aren't shoo-ins.
October 18, 201411 yr QUOTE (shysocks @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 11:57 AM) Also, KC has managed exactly one blowout in the whole postseason. They aren't shoo-ins. Agreed. I think the Giants take game one based on Bumgarner matches up better against the Royals offense than Shields against the Giants offense. Just my uneducated opinion of course.
October 18, 201411 yr QUOTE (StRoostifer @ Oct 17, 2014 -> 11:19 PM) Agreed. I think the Giants take game one based on Bumgarner matches up better against the Royals offense than Shields against the Giants offense. Just my uneducated opinion of course. But the royals only need that one run lead from the sixth inning on.
October 18, 201411 yr Kind of crazy to think that Lincecum is in the pen and has had no impact on the team at all.
