Awful managing by Yost in the bottom of the 5th inning.

Bunting/sacrificing with your best average/hottest second half and post-season hitter (Escobar) to have a LH batter 0 for 16 career (and well played by Perez in LF) face Bumgarner is clearly going to be one of the most questioned moves if the Royals lose this game.

Then again, Cain was still overmatched....but we'll never know how Escobar would have done if they played for the big inning.

It's just as possible Cain and Hosmer would have gone down, leaving it up to Butler against Bumgarner to drive in two runs with two outs.

I think Bumgarner is giving up at least 2 runs, just a hunch.

Next year

Ha, he is straight dealing. Even if KC were to come back and win this game, he almost still deserves MVP honors in a losing effort.

Bumgarner is just on another level right now.

Is Bum better than Sale?

I know Madison is doing great but how do you not have someone in the bullpen getting ready just in case

World Series Bumgarner? Yes

Regular season Bumgarner? Not a chance

Madison or Casilla in the 9th?

Madison or Casilla in the 9th?

2 out of 3 lefties. I would leave him in.

Casilla isn't warming so Madison.. But you have to have him warming up ready just in case. Don't put all your eggs in one basket

Yep so would I...interesting decision though

If there is a runner in after those 3, then I think you pull him.

I don't mind the Giants at all, but I really want the Royals to win. Come on KC!

Leave Madison in, but have Casilla and maybe even Javy Lopez warming up.

If the Giants hold on, that Panik glove toss DP will be just as important as Bum G.

For a team on the verge of their 3rd title in 5 years, the Giants really don't get a lot of pub.

Madison is a big time pitcher, can't see the Royals doing any damage in the 9th.

This world series has just been plain fun outside of yesterday's game.

Whatever happens it has been entertaining.

This is the team that got to Lester and then came back later in the game. It doesn't appear anyone would be able to hit this guy, but you never know.

Butler is the key in the inning. got to get him out

MB has been a stud tonight in relief.

I wonder who the MVP is.

Oh my.. Blanco.
