Yeah, I might give The Brink a try.

Going to wait on Ballers. It just looks dumb.

So what exactly makes Ballers "look dumb"? The Brink is worth "a try" but Ballers "looks dumb"?

I don't get it. It's a story about an ex-athlete played by a hollywood star who wants to get into the business side post-retirement. Ballers is actually pretty f***ing awesome.

Also, had no idea the WR on the show is Denzel's kid.

I agree. It's an entertaining show and I think the Rock does a great job as the lead.

It's a show still in it's infancy, only going to get better.

Watched Impractical Jokers for the first time today... I spent most of the episode laughing. Great show

You have a lot to catch up on. Such a funny ass show. Go see them live if you ever get the chance too. If you are into podcasts, Sal and Q have one that is pretty funny as well

One of my favorite shows. Impossible to not laugh out loud during the majority of the show

So, I didn't hate the premiere of Scream on MTV. I'm a fan of the movies growing up and am kinda protective of it but it wasn't bad plot wise.

The Big Brother editing is a bit strange so far, they are moving events around and are ignoring complete days where s*** goes down. The twins have been switching for almost a week now and they havent mentioned it.

They said on the premiere they will show her tonight. I'm glad it's her. She's the hottest female this season to me.

She's a smoke show in a bikini. I just get so much more from the show outside of the telecasts. They haven't even begun to show the drama.

I sprung for the feeds since they are only $6 a month and I can watch past seasons and watch on my roku. All the good stuff has happened when I'm not able to tune in and have had to read about it.

Her body is great, her face is good, her voice is bad.

You can always go back and watch the stuff if you can get a timestamp which you can usually find. I have always only watched feeds on Thursdays after HOH so I don't get stuff spoiled for me but this year I have been watching some and it has been great. I'm not sure how long I will be watching them as the season goes along though

Finally saw episode 2 of True Detective. I knew there was something major that happened at the end, but the first 55 minutes or so were incredibly boring.

Since you three seem to have been watching it for a while, is the show 100% real? I love it either way, but I feel like some of the reactions of the people around them seem too scripted to be true.

Based off everything I have heard from the podcast and everything I think 90% of everything is real. They put ads in the paper or craigslist for the panels and stuff where they need an audience for. But it really seems real to me and even if it isn't I still love the show and the guys are just funny people.

just my opinion, but I don't think there's a chance impractical jokers is real. I also don't think the vast majority of what many people think of as "reality TV" is real either

Anyone else checking out Mr Robot? I am about an episode and a half in. Digging it so far.

Yes, similarly enjoying it, lots of ways they could go with this.

I assume you're cheering for the corporation?

I have the IJ app, and they answer fan questions and one of the fans asked about being recognizing them and ruining their bits. They said they do a lot of stuff in wide open areas and plant "security" all over the places to look for people who identify the guys and pull them aside so they don't spoil it. And the popularity of the show means its harder for them to get through segments without someone figuring them out, but it all makes sense to me.

I believe it's real.

Exactly, I have heard them say multiple times that if they are recognized they put the people off to the side and the guys will sign stuff for them or take pictures after they are done shooting.

With any show on TV there will be always be stuff that is staged that is why I think 85-90% of the show is real.

What parts wouldn't be real then?
