Gabbert is actually handling pressure well.

It looked 100% like a facemask in real time. It was the right call.

The umpire was looking right at it and saw no facemask. The two that threw the flags did not see it because it was not there. The umpire should have talked them out of the call.

I have found the hyperventilating of Bears beat writers kind of ridiculous today but now I'm getting nervous we will let this game slip away.

NFL refs are just so inconsistent, Cutler gets slammed to the ground, very easy call and precisely the kind of play the NFL tries to enforce to protect QBs...no call.

 

Then refs flag very iffy calls.

 

Just terrible, easily worse than NBA refs, SMH

This is an unbelievably bad football game. Bears just got incredibly lucky there. If he intercepts that the Bears are pretty much done.
