LaRoche is certainly trying to earn his right to be a soxtalk whipping boy early on here

 

 

LaRoche is a notorious slow starter.

He shouldn't be playing against many LHP. I don't care if he is a vet he is no good against LHP and he shouldn't be batting 5th if even in the lineup.

 

Start throwing at Twins players and hope they retaliate so we can get warnings issued. That'll help LaRoche out.

Was anyone a fan of 'Twitch Plays Pokemon'? Can we do something like that for this team? 'Soxtalk Manages White Sox'. We all collectively vote on what should happen, and the highest vote wins. We'd immediately become better, and save a ton of money not having to pay a manager.

conversely, Beckham could go 0-4 with the golden sombrero and you would find a way to call the site a bunch of idiots

Seems like the WHIP for the pitchers has to be well over 2.

There's no reason Suzuki should wear anyone out.

Especially if Robin is just going to play Beckham against lefties.

We have 3 righties on the bench, they all should be used on days when there's a lefty on the mound. Gillaspie and LaRoche should flat out not be playing when there's a lefty on the mound.

 

We even have a roster built to do this, yet the fact that it's not happening with LaRoche was completely predictable in early December.

Too bad our manager doesn't realize simple things like this :/

I agree but how many people are going to be pissed if you see Beckham or Sanchez playing DH? You don't want Emilio in the DH role because he has versatility. You don't want Soto DHing because of the lack of bench catcher. So you have Beckham or Sanchez and I expect Sanchez to be gone here soon

 

Edit: I guess you can have AVI DH and Emilio play RF

This is so obviously the answer. If you aren't going to play Emilio around the diamond there is zero point in signing him.
