The formula is to totally suck for 20 years then barely make the WC get lucky that game go on a nice run but still lose the WS and all of a sudden there is a Royals "way" and they think they are so special.

Doesn't matter, but lost a lot of respect or admiration for the Royals. I know they were already developing that reputation, but just total bush league actions by there entire team.
