all kinds of stuff buried in this hype video

  • This little teaser was released within the last few days and the "glitch" at the end reminds me very much of Spiderverse   https://twitter.com/sonypicturesarg/status/1404423123676504067?s=10

I don't think it's official. When I checked a few weeks ago when the story came out, that Deadpool account didn't have many followers. Now the account is near 10,000 followers.

I'm actually more offended that someone started a petition to make a PG-13 rated film. Are parents today that afraid of telling their kids "no"?

Deadpool was funny and violent but very simple plot wise.

Yeah it was pretty great.

I want to know what the scene was that TJ Miller and Ryan Reynolds wrote that would have made the film NC-17.

Were we ever told who Francis worked for? People against mutants?

Yeah me too. Last night there were probably close to 10 kids easily under 16 at the movie. Since I had already seen Deadpool I knew this movie would bring a lot of uncomfortable situations for the parents. But that's what they get for taking kids to it.

Absolutely no way they could've made it PG-13 without cutting out part of the plot along with 30 minutes. The movie was only 1 hour 45 minutes to begin with.

Boxoffficemojo.com has Deadpool estimated at $135 million this weekend. If even close, that's amazing. I figured it be around the $90 million mark.

Yeah that was the one big complaint on the movie for me. Didn't completely understand that.

Going to see Deadpool this afternoon. Of course the wife had to pick a cold snowy day.

Just got back from seeing Deadpool, great movie! Ryan Reynolds' sarcasm was at its finest and reminded me alot of his role Monty in the movie Waiting. My wife and I are going back during the week to see Deadpool again.

That was so fantastic.

I'm amazed Fox greenlit so much. It's paying off.

this is on me, i just don't like most of the marvel movies. i was going to ask BS13 a question, but i will ask it here.

if you are not a fan, is it still a movie worth going to see???

YES! YES! YES!

Honestly man, the only comic book stuff I've gotten into is Thor ( love the Norse mythology ) and The Avengers ( because Thor is in it and my wife is a Marvel fan). Otherwise, I haven't seen the other super hero's movies ( iron man, hulk, captain America etc.). I have seen the XMen movies but that's because my wife left me with no choice. :P

Point is, like you, I've never really been into the super hero stuff BUT, Deadpool is well worth seeing. I am officially a fan of Deadpool now. The humor in that movie is right up my alley and could rival and maybe even top the Ted movies as far as adult raw, raunchy vulgar humor is concerned.

The wife and I are going to see Deadpool again this week. This is the second movie I've liked so much I will actually go back and pay to see again, the first was Ted.

I think Fox allowed so much because of the combination of 1. It didn't even cost $60 million to make meaning it wasn't that much of a risk. If Deadpool would've had a $150 million budget, the movie possibly would've been PG-13 to appeal to a bigger audience. And 2. After that Fantastic 4 debacle, it was noted Fox was extremely controlling and wouldn't let the director do his type of movie. Fox seems to do the exact opposite with Deadpool and look the other way instead. Just my views on it.

Absolutely. I'm not someone who has to see every comic book movie, but definitely recommend Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Yeah deadpool was good. Saw it Saturday. Some of the gore was too much for me but it was much funnier than I expected. TBH after the last trailer (which showed basically all of the weakest jokes), I thought it would be terrible. After it got good reviews I was excited to go.

Definitely were kids under ten in the theatre though...

Kurt Russell cast in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
