Sox should light Lobstein today.

But everyone knows, of course, that won't happen.

Not a fan of Melky hitting so high in the order vs LHP right now.

We don't hit soft tossing lefties well at all. So I don't expect us to hit any better then we have all year

I also heard that Cooper was incredibly rude and grouchy on the radio today. Goff and Spiegel were pretty disappointed in how he acted with the hosts before them.

Are we still doing the really obvious things today?

I'm mad I missed it, because it seems like it was worse than usual.

Now that the first inning is in the books, here are the fruits of my research:

Sox opponents have scored in 10 out of 25 first innings.

The Sox have scored in 4.

In no game have both teams scored in the first.

Sox opponents are outscoring them 19-6 in the first inning.

Well, Eaton does have one hit in the first inning all year. Probably quite a few of those runs are thanks to Abreu's homers.

I wonder if our pitches are doing something wrong in their warm ups? Maybe they don't warm up enough or something

Q ......5K thru 2

I got your back fathom....

First one listed.

I listened to it on the way to work....he got really worked up in the middle there. Seemed like he expected softball questions when Mully and Hanley really wanted to talk about real stuff. He has gotten this way before...especially last year.

Alexei needs a day off....

Maybe 2

Some of the numbers for the team vs LHP are crazy bad:

Alexei: 1-15, no walks

Melky: 2-28, 1 walk

Abreu: 4-23, 1 2b, 1 HR, 2 walks

LaRoche: 5-24, 1 walk

Moral of the story is: cut Bonifacio, bring back Viciedo!

Q may very well be in kill-mode today.

That broke a streak of five straight strikeouts. Damn.

How about the offense score at least 1 for him today??

Miguel Cabrera is a good baseball player.

Miggy-Vmat-Cespedes owns him, its a problem. He can mow down everyone else but those 3 are gonna give him fits.

And he we go again.

Why doesn't he just go around Cespedes?

I wonder if Viciedo is one of those guys that has eaten himself out of baseball. He must be awfully lazy to have not even gotten a minor league deal with somebody.

He's going to have to get Cespedes out at some point this season, dont just run and hide from the guy.

Hopefully it works, but you have a guy that owns Q followed by the struggling Martinez.
