I like Robin letting the young Sanchez hit here regardless of the outcome. Might be in the minority though.

Ventura's best game of the season. I liked him not calling for the Alexei bunt, as we know he can't bunt to move runners over. Called the hit and run this inning with Conor as well.

My one beef I had with Robin was him PH Micah alot. These types of at bats and more of them helps young players develop. Sanchez is also a better contact hitter too.

I was afraid that he'd hit into a double play. I'd rather he pop up a bunt than ground it to SS.

I'm by no means a Sanchez believer, but in those situations, he's dangerous with his ability to flip it into the outfield.
