First time in Sale's career with three straight games of 10+ strikeouts

I think it's safe to say that Sale is the best athlete in the history of sports.

Flowers showin' da haters that he's still got it.

Sox 9-0

Is it wrong if I feel a tiny tinge of disappointment when Flowers does well in a blowout just knowing it buys him more time for games when it will matter?

Who is this guy? Having no pressure must help him out

Counting tonight's 7 IP 3 H 2 BB 13 K 0 R performance in Sale's last 5 starts he has done this:

38 2/3 IP 19 H 6 BB 53 K 6 ER. 0.65 WHIP 12.34 K/9. 8.83 K:BB.1.40 ERA.

I 100% think this way every time he bats.

Melky cant get the head of the bat out with any pop... this isn't the guy I remember.

I hate Swirsky asking so many questions, but I love listening to Stoney's answers. A lot to be learned listening to his insights.

Chris Sale was unbelievable tonight.

Full moon

Inevitable drop-off well underway, Avi hitting .156/.228/.156 over his last 10 games.

He really hasn't been healthy though

Shutout is gone.

Nice to see Sale back dominating the last five starts. 38.2 innings, 1.40 ERA.

Gallo off Duke.

Sale at 20 straight scoreless innings

He ain't no athlete, he's a baseball player.

I'd feel pretty damn good if the Sox win the next three and get to 27-27 at the 1/3 mark of the season.

You just had to do it, haha.

Okay, well...now you promised everyone 27-27, let's see how well that holds up, starting with Rodon tmrw.

They'll go LWL. 25-29. Because they suck.

But we can always hope.

LOL. That's the only way to get the great answers is to ask the questions. Poor Swirsky can't win regarding your scenario described here.
