Beckham is another 0-3 or so away from having his worst batting average for a season. Sad to see him bottom out again

Not one of Hawk's finest moments

Hawk is losing it

Hawk gets excited over a ball not even to the warning track.

Only 3 hits....

Why is Eaton swimging at the first pitch

I wish hitters vs Samardjiza didn't swing at the first pitch. They said earlier they are hitting .580 .

Well our hitters suck

Routine ground ball

Well, at least we're being efficient, 2 runs scored on 3 hits vs. 3 on 13 hits.

So there's that.

Win a game for once.

Time to get some hits that lead to runs. Let's go Sox!!!

Kind words regarding Conor Michael Gillaspie from Ed Farmer and DJ. Acknowleding that despite his struggles, he works to improve. They were less complimentary of a few of his teammates just the other day.

Ho hum, another loss. Accountability!

Zzzzz

Bums

2015 season is officially a disaster captain of the ship is swimming time. Give KW another undeserved promotion JR.

This team makes losing look way too easy.

Failure from top to bottom...

To think I got fooled into thinking this year would be different than the last couple.

Coaching staff and a few of the players need to be gone/reassigned.

The holding hands/care bear way hasn't worked for the past 5 years.

The only 2 days a month this team cares about is the 15th and the 30th. It is becoming obvious at this point.

The Pirates were on a tear coming into this series...but it's not like we did ourselves any favors defensively today.

3 hits isn't going to win many games, either.

Basically, they play the game unselfishly, they have very solid defense and, like the Twins from 2002-2009, they let their opponents beat themselves. (The difference is these days, we can't honestly say we have more talent on our roster compared to other teams.)

Pirates scored 8 runs in 4 wins coming in not exactly a tear.

Our defense is poor yes - and that is the most important aspect of baseball.

But WOW this team from an offensive stand point is beyond putrid.

No power, no patience, strike out happy.

Yes, but a winning streak nonetheless (and the growing confidence that goes with that)...and, if you look at their overall offensive stats over the last month, every aspect of their team is on an upwards trend.

I had to leave for a bit right after Soto hit his HR. I knew they'd lose.

Does it make anyone else a little irritated whenever the 9th rolls around and we are down a run how the hitters all of a sudden are slightly more patient? If you can show that approach in the 9th, why can't you do some of that the rest of the game? The culture of suck runs strong with this organization.
