Jennings is back. Guerra sent down.

I don't see this game being played. I hope the call it sooner than risk everyone going to the game.

I doubt they'll do that. They obviously don't return to STL, but both teams do have an off day tomorrow.

Cards start a 4-game set with San Diego tomorrow.

Ahh...misread the schedule. Even more reason they'll do everything they can do get this in.

They'll play. It's not an all day rain there.

Sox off tomorrow. Cardinals stay home. They'll be there til 2am if they have to.

According to the weather channel there's a 30% chance of rain until about 6 pm, then it jumps to 95% by 7 pm and stays 65-75% until 5 am.

I live here. It's suppose to rain from 7pm on for most of the night. That can change obviously. They both have an off day July 20th before they play each other in Chicago

Their only shared off day the rest of the season is July 20. They'll be there as late as possible if they have to.

edit: unless the Cardinals want to play a day/nighter against two different teams tomorrow. I think the Indians or Royals did that once.

Isn't there some kind of rules with regards to starting a game or playing a game time wise?

I think they used to have curfew rules when a lot of parks were in neighborhoods.

The home team is in charge of the game starting, but once they start it's in the hands of the umpires.

And when it's a teams' last time (or only time) visiting, they wait it out as long as possible.

I would be in favor of playing it on the 20th. Not like Chicago and St. Louis are far apart.

We shall see. I think they'll play and weather won't be as bad as it may seem.

I think after 7:30 there is going to be strong storms/showers all night until probably 1ish (just watched the weather with them showing the future radar tonight). Some storms could be really bad and I don't know why they would want to put fans through that especially when there is more rain to come behind it

The Angels haven't had a home game rained out in 20 years.Only trip to STL for the Sox, and final game of the series. I am pretty sure this game is in the umpires' hands all the way.

Can they play it in front of an empty stadium?

not to get all political, but it's so strange to see how much rain the rest of the country is getting meanwhile people are digging up their lawns here in socal because of the drought. If we can build an oil pipeline, can't we build a water one too?

Okay, back to baseball.

That's a pretty scary situation in CA.

Can anybody get rich from it? If not, the answer is no.

Weather looks ok. Couple stray showers.

neighbors are now narcing on neighbors who water on mandatory off days. Definitely going to get worse before it gets better.

Why couldn't they have taken all the snow up north and moved it to drought areas.
