Tornado watches in western Missouri...and a band of rain stretching pretty much across the state all the way to KC from east-central MO.

The White Sox are going to have the most god-awful schedule in the dog days of summer...will they have any off days after the All-Star break?

Maybe 1 or 2 at most.

Guess it's not SO bad....but if they make this game up July 20th (before StL returns for two games to Chicago), that only leaves August 6th/13th and September 10th/28th for 2 1/2 months.

not to get all political, but it's so strange to see how much rain the rest of the country is getting meanwhile people are digging up their lawns here in socal because of the drought. If we can build an oil pipeline, can't we build a water one too?

Okay, back to baseball.

EPA wouldn't allow it, might disturb the habitat of some obscure flea. Then, the unions would delay it for a few decades.

Okay, back to baseball.

@whitesox: First pitch is estimated for 9:05.

Just chillin, watching the gold standard in pitching view angles

So this guy travels to St.Louis only to get kicked out, kinda dumb. Now if he ran onto the field with beer in hand and had pulled off a Mark Buehrle belly slide on the tarp I could see a point.lol

2 pitches, bottom of the first, delay for lightning.

successful 8 minutes of baseball

Their guy sure as hell ain't the sodfather

Good throw by Alexei gets him there. Ho hum, more Q first inning issues.

Looks like Wong never touched home. Where's the challenge?

That was really bad by Flowers

Flail choked again. Can't even do the little things

Doesn't seem like Hawk thinks they'll continue this game.

Is this grounds guy a moron?

Looked definitively safe to me.

Yeah just watched it again. Safe for sure, my bad

They got blasted on Sunday night for evacuating everyone far too late.

Back on.

Nice hit by Sanchez, but can't Sox find a second baseman who can hit .220 at least? .165 doesn't cut it.

The Sox have one hitter hitting above .270

Avi with a good game so far
