So that great play at ss is the difference between hitting .400 on the year and .200. Wacky.

They were discussing our pitching staff and what we could give them in help for their playoff run. Ofcourse Shark was the name they did mention Q too.

And what's wrong with discussing that? Given their minor league system, I would hope the Sox at least talk to them if they start trading away players.

Haha...If they want Q they better realize they'll be saying bye-bye to some of those "core players" of the Cubs' future.

I know it's only been 1.3 games, but I really like what I'm seeing from Saladino. Assuming he can hold down the position defensively, he may have enough speed & bat to be a productive 3B in today's game.

Start with Bryant and go from there.

Discussing it is pointless because the odds of that happening are almost zero. It's too risky for both sides.

The only Cubs prospect not on their current roster who I'd be remotely interested in as a return for Quintana is Schwarber.

Sale gotta put down Russel when he had him at 0-2

Sale gave Rizzo a easy fastball to hit.

2-1 count, here comes the Bryant 3-run homer...

BIG STRIKEOUT THERE.

Kris Bryant

Bye Bryant.

They making Sale work

They getting some good swings on Sale. But ... nice pop out to rf.

Gets out of it!

PC at 55 thru 3 for Sale

Sale on a pace for 6IP so lets get plenty of runs to support the pen late in the game.

Cubs are one of the league leaders in pitches seen I believe

Any obvious trading partners for Melky? Or is he untradeable like Dunn was?

We aren't trading Melky.

Avi has 15 walks on the season; more than I thought.

If anybody wanted him for that contract, they would have signed him in the offseason
