Jose Abreu
Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 40s40 seconds ago Tulowitzki will receive a $2M assignment bonus for being traded and his contract converts to include full no-trade clause from here on out. Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 11:44 PM) Why do the Rockies want Jose Reyes? They probably had no other choice if they wanted quality prospects. Tulo has $98M remaining on his contract after this year, this is basically the equivalent of eating some money. CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 09:44 PM) Why do the Rockies want Jose Reyes? Dude it's essentially a salary dump trade only they also get back a quality player. Better then putting Tulo on waivers and just hoping someone eats the whole contract. Chicago White Sox
CarGo will most certainly be moved before the deadline. If they treat dealing him like a salary dump, then I'm game for a trade. Acquring him would definitely be a risk, but one that might be worth taking if it's only primarily money at stake.
LDF
that is really going to put a monkey wrench in hou plans. it is hou fault from waiting too long to make a trade for a sp, rp, and a 1b. i wonder what is going back???
caulfield12
How long before Tulowitzki gets injured on that stadium turf? For all of those wishing he'd get back into playoffs contention, it's not like he was traded to the Cardinals, Royals or Pirates. Without some more pitching, TOR has far from an automatic path to the 2nd WC.
