Two team options on a potential stud pitcher? That's fantastic.

I can't tell whether this comment is describing Sale's contract or Quintana's contract.

They mirror each other. Quintana's is significantly cheaper. In each case, the sox have two cheap looks at both.

No reason for Abreu to still be batting. Definitely hobbled, and game is out of hand.

More non-coaching.

Between last night with DJ on the radio and Stone right there on TV, the Sox announcers are being openly critical of Avi's approach at the plate.

That last at bat by Avi was a complete s*** show.

A couple days ago someone suggested having him open up his stance. Sounds like a great idea to me.

I still advocate 40 pushups every time he hits a ball to the right side. Worked for Willy Mays Hayes.

When's the last time he even came close to hitting a home run?

They should. It sucks. And it's on the coaching staff for not getting his approach right.

Probably was me. I made a few suggestions.

Early June I think is his last I thought I seen.

One day so bad, next day so good, rubber match so bad.

Wouldn't be the first time the starting pitching collapsed the last few months of the season.

I expect Thompson to be up tomorrow for Carroll and starting in RF

We pushed them so hard during the first 4 months of the year they've got a ready-made excuse.

HR Alexei 12-2 Yanks.

Crazy he's going to end up with a better average and homers than Avi and LaRoche most likely

This would be quite the comeback if we can hit about 10 more HRs

HR Soto 12-3 Yanks.

If they decide to bring in a lefty starting catcher next year, Soto would be the perfect platoon.

Someone's going to give him a much bigger free agent offer than we want to think.

If they bring in a LH starting catcher, I'm pretty sure the backup will be Tyler Flowers
