If anything it is a bone bruise, nothing structural so limping around the bases isn't going to hurt him further

Thanks doctor, but at the very least you can't have him limping around the bases.

Yankees had a white sox quality rundown going and then for some reason Alexei just gave himself up and stopped running?

He better be hurt.

Knowing him, he was just giving up.

Stone made it seem like he believed he was out of gas.

Lol if he says he is ok then he was fine. You aren't going to take your DH out of the game in the 2nd inning unless he really can't do anything.

He was clearly not fine. Looks like he just came back out after limping into the training room.

I'm not watching the game, but just checked the box score. Saw the Sox were down 1-0, and I thought: "I bet Shark gave up a home run to a left-handed batter."

Yep. He's like Gavin Floyd in that regard.

To be fair, the Yankees have 8 players hitting left handed in their lineup.

They need to get Saladino out of the 2nd spot, as he's not doing much of anything over the last 10 days offensively.

Agreed. Having a hole in spots like that is killer. The 2 spot bats too many time for him to look that bad.
