Gibson hung a sinker up to Eaton. Pretty good sinker to Abreu, Abreu is just better and goes down and hits a ground rule double.

Leadoff single for Eaton, Ground Rule 2b for Abreu, 2nd and 3rd, nobody out.

Samardzija with 2 straight walks to load the bases with 2 outs.

He has nothing on these pitches. Just give Montas his starts going forward.

NO. He's gotten a boost of 30 innings over 2014 already, a few outings out the bullpen will push that closer to 40. That's a good number.

His FIP is 4.08, his ERA 4.85. I have watched most of the games. I don't think defense costs him 3/4 of a run per 9 innings, over the number errors do, which is already built into his ERA, unless they want to set up in the seats. Although that is still a HR.

Fangraphs has him only down 0.3 mph, wonder what the difference in compiled numbers is?
