During the week, I spend a good 2-3 hours a day reading this forum haha.

I'm not, haha I'm currently a grad student in the financial services sector.

 

That could have been a great comeback when your ban ends in August to go over there and rub it in their faces that you were in law school.

When I joined SoxTalk in '13, I had also registered at the other site. Post counts are irrelevant to me but I'm somewhere over 4k here on SoxTalk and two years later I have yet to make my first post on the other site. Never really knew why I didn't bother but after reading this evening's discussion, I think I now know.

 

Thanks again to Jason for firing up this bad boy and to all the members here at SoxTalk for making this a pretty easy going place to talk Baseball. Well done!

 

 

This is supposed to be a thank you thread for SoxTalk and what it is. No need to bring WSI into it any further. WSI just has a different, more strict way of doing things. That's their thing, and this place is ours. I like ours, but WSI serves its own purpose too.

 

SSS, same thing, they do some things really well (their blog posts are the best around the White Sox community, IMO), and others I like better here (the discussion is much deeper here than either of the other places in my view).

 

That aside, I'll say again I love this place. Should be obvious by being an Admin here and writing at FS, but still feel the need to say it, haha.

Whoever signs Adam Dunn to a one-day contract for the SoxTalk softball game wins for sure...

I remember the rivals days, then WSI which I posted in quite a bit until I left in disgust, following a suspension. LOL. Thank goodness for Soxtalk! I need my daily White Sox fix.

We did those for 2 or 3 years, a long while ago, but we had a pretty weak showing of people the last time we tried. Could be fun though, if enough people show up.
