His best overall film is either Total Recall or Predator.

You guys are far too mature for me. In no particular order, my favorites are:

- Shawshank

- Borat

- Major League

- Wedding Crashers

- Lego Movie

- The Girl Next Door

- Great Escape

- Little Big League

I'd take The Running Man over both of those. T and T2 as well over those two movies. Predator was good but for me Total Recall loses out to Mr. Freeze.

The Departed

Heat

other things

Shawshank

Kung Fu Hustle

Gangs of New York

Old School

St. Vincent

Planet Terror

Bronx Tale

Guardians of the Galaxy

Off the top of my head of my favorites.

Junior?

A lot of mine have been mentioned already however hands down, my favorite movie is The Wolf of Wall Street. I didnt notice if anyone had mentioned Forrest Gump but thats up there for me as well. Give me Demolition Man and Rocky 4 for my Stallone fix.

Escape Plan

1 Rudy (have to go with a movie I'm actually in)

2 Airplane

3 Hoosiers

4 Caddyshack

5 National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

6 Star Wars

7 UHF

8 Silence of the Lambs

9 Spaceballs

10 Good Will Hunting

11 Field of Dreams

12 Brian's Song

13 Remember the Titans

14 Men with Brooms

Major League is so overrated. That movie sucked.

Field of Dreams

Waiting For Guffman

Planes Trains and Automobiles

Goodfellas

American Beauty

I can't believe I forgot Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail.

The movie just isn't the same to me ever since I saw the stage version.

I don't get the Terminator 2 love. I mean, looking at the first three Terminator movies (I haven't seen any after that), the original is far and away the best, with T2 and T3 about the same and neither that great. Actually I feel like T3 was a better film than T2, though less exciting.

Then again, I'm probably the only person here who thought Alien3 was a good movie (though not quite as good as the first two). I like to pretend any Alien films after 3 don't exist.

Alien 4 was a studio meddling bastardization. The director removed his name from the film because he didnt want to be associated with it, he went on to do some good things. Some guy named Joss Whedon

T2 has iconic heroes, an iconic and original villain, and basically every action sequence (aquaduct chase, sanitarium breakout, Cyberdyne escape, highway chase, foundry fighting) is awesome. With the exception of one stinker (Arnold rolling off the liquid Nitrogen truck), the special effects are amazing and hold up well today.

Alien 3 is perfectly respectable. It just gets beat up because it's hard to live up to 1 and 2.

I got 45 minutes into the Departed and honestly thought "This may be the best movie I have ever seen". Still really love it, just like Goodfellas better.
