Might as well fast forward to the postseason with this Cubs team.

Yep, even when they shouldn't win, they end up winning.

The NL is looking pretty awful this far

You'll have a hard time convincing me the Reds didn't lose that game on purpose after Finnegan's no hit bid ended.

The number of rebuilding clubs is crazy, but the Central is still potentially a dog fight. The Cubs, however, still look like the division is theirs.

I didn't understand why Cingrani was left in to face Soler when you had the righty Diaz available. That should have been a no brainer. He still gave up the bomb to Russell but maybe that changes his pitch sequence.

My prediction went right out the window.

There is something about Pittsburgh I like more than the cubs.

Wish that they would have more power. I do love Jaso (and his hair) batting leadoff. Hopefully Nicasio continues to shine.

I'd be more inclined to like them if they decided Glasnow was ready now

This is from a poster at a cubs forum.

They are currently on pace to even break their own 116 Won-Loss record by winning 135 Games and losing only 27 Games this year.........Could this possibly happen?.........One in a million shot, but still a possibility........

The Kool-Aid gets no sweeter than 2016 Cub Kool-Aid.

That means we're on pace to shatter our wins record as well.

Pretty amazing how many teams are gonna win 110 games when you think about it. What a year this'll be.

I just really don't like the back end of their rotation. Glasnow should help with that later though.

I do not like Freese batting 3rd against RHP.

This is the best one of them all from 670 the score cubs forum.

The cubs will win a world series before the bulls make the playoffs again

And there was someone on this site who wants the same to happen to Arrieta. Happens with all fan bases.

Most are (rightly) more worried about the Cardinals and Pirates.

Winning the division is huge, depending on how the other races pan out, you could be facing a Kershaw/Bumgarner/Scherzer/Syndergaard in the WC game. That's no fun.

Cubs offense vs righties has been incredible
