Sox swept A's in Oakland last year.

Before that they couldn't buy a win in the Col.

alright, go get some more

Why throw it that high?
I don't think it was supposed to be that high. He's overthrowing.

Why hasn't Coop gone out there to calm Sale down and give him a breather yet?

It would only piss him off more.

Half inning from hell all started with a couple cheap hits

He was trying to throw it through the wall behind the fans behind the catcher.

Chris really is his own worst enemy at times. So much talent but he gets in the way of himself

Vogt's little infield single was the catalyst for the whole inning. Ugh.

The bad at Oakland outweighs the good 10 to 1

I know it's the 1st start for him, but Sale seems to do way better when he mixes his fastball from 91-93 and then pop 95-97 later.. he just seems to be chucking the ball as hard as he can right now

Sale looks like he's only throwing fastball/slider. Not a lot of changeups to break it up in there.

The A's forced Sale to throw 34 pitches in a three-run third inning.

Another question, why all Sale's runs earned but no RBI's for Melky on what would have been an rbi groundout?

Or should you say... not a lot of changeups to change it up in there? ;)

Now the strike zone is huge

Melky's grounder was hit with 2 outs

Thought it was 1 out but that would make sense

I was gonna praise Jackson for his patience, but if you swing 3-1, you better not foul out.

Every time a grounder is hit to Semien, you just have this weird sense that there will be an error. He just fields... awkwardly

30+ pitch inning for Sale? Let's go 3 and out

Two 3-1 counts and we have nothing to show for it...

His footwork is awful.
