April 28, 20169 yr This may also mean that we see a Frazier rest coming up, and Lawrie too. Also it would be my guess that Sanchez sticks around and Webb ends up going down when Robertson is back, assuming nothing crazy happens with the pitching staff.

April 28, 20169 yr Obviously he should take the time he needs, but it's ok to talk about how this impacts the team too. My guess is he'll be back Tuesday night. He probably knew last night when he was pitching that he wouldn't be with the team this weekend.

I agree he'll be back Tuesday, rightfully so, no reason to come back before a day off. He still pitched pretty good even though I imagine that was on his mind the entire night.
April 28, 20169 yr Y'all are overreacting a little. It's possible to feel bad for Robertson without specifically mentioning it in a post on a message board, while still being bummed as a fan that he's out for the series. I don't think anyone said anything particularly insensitive.

While Sanchez has already been optioned this year, I believe that the bereavment and concussion lists don't follow the same waiver/option rules as DL and sending guys down typically. I do believe they have to be on the 40 man roster though.
