Is Rodon really throwing all of his fastballs at 90-92 even in key situations or against their best hitters?

Usually he dials it up into the mid 90's when he really needs a K.

He came out of the delay throwing gas, but that inning looked like the tank was empty. Problem is I saw maybe 2 good sliders the entire night.

He's hitting 93, which should be good enough. It's just that they're in bad locations.

That would be awesome if Rodon catches a second wind and breezes thru the fifth and sixth.

Where did Texas find this junkballer?

That was a PERFECT call by Hawk. He laughed at how we caught a break on that awful baserunning.

I love him when hes happy

It would be awesome if Rodon doesn't start the 5th.

I don't know if it already is on here but Melky told Laz Diaz he was a bad umpire those pitches were balls to earn his first career ejection.

What's the MLB record for the most hits surrendered by a starter over over the course of 5 innings to still get the win?

Rodon has to be getting pretty close...12-15, has to be somewhere in there.

Eaton almost fell out of the box.

That slide by Jackson is a little questionable. He never touched Andrus though.

The Rangers are kinda like the Sox before this year.

Now entering the game for the Chicago White Sox....GONG GONG GONG...Shingo Takatsu and the frisbee.

The Rangers manager reminds me of Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones

Minus the fact that they could hit, made the playoffs, have one of the best farm systems in baseball and pushed Toronto to the edge of elimination.

They also do catastrophically stupid things regularly.

I think he means that the 2016 Rangers are like the 2015 White Sox

One more inning, Carlos. Two if you're feeling froggy.

I'm not a big Carroll fan. And sometimes things turn around for a pitcher in a baseball game. His pitch count is low.

He's intense. In person, he's like a general or military leader...always in charge.

But he's gone through cancer, a crazy minor league career in which he fought just to get one hit in the big leagues off Dan Petry (Dish)...he's just really standup and admirable.

I knew back in 1995 he was going to be a big league manager someday, surprised it took him 20 years (and it required the revolution of "pitch frame" and "infield shifting" with the Pirates/Hurdle to get some attention and job interviews.)

His favorite restaurant is Hooters in Augusta, lol. But a great family man...cool wife, has got it all.

Looks like Rodon caught a second wind or something. Hit 97 on that pitch to strike out Rua.

Considering the circumstances I am good with what Rodon has done

Now that is what a good fastball and command does for Rodon.
