5/17 - Astros @ White Sox Game Thread

Saladino is a great bench player. Just made a bad error, that's all. Defense is just in a funk.

Yeah, nothing against Tyler. But I just expect him to make a routine play like that. We've been too used to Frazier being solid over there.

Better defense, but is Rollins that bad? We'll disagree about the bat. Until last year, Rollins was a 3 WAR player on offense. Saladino will never do that.

Watch the games, he is so slow and his reaction time is awful.. Rollins is also an aging vet that will never be a 3 WAR player again probably even a 1-2 WAR again.

Hawk's exciting. Benetti is totally forgettable. Like most announcers, actually.

Hawk is exciting like a heart attack is exciting

It was like two days ago no one could figure out why Rollins was starting

I would like to say I've favored Rollins over Saladino from the get go.

Is keuchel has the sinkerball working,Sox are in for another tough one

Ugh, this offense is brutal sometimes.

On the bright side, Rodon looks good so far.

Things have turned around for Keuchel it appears. Of course it just has to be against us

Of course Kuechel figures it out

Nice slider by Rodon

Frazier really is the anchor that deepens the lineup

Not sure Kuechel really "figured anything out." After years of watching the White Sox, I am going to have to go with the old "it's not you , it's me" routine.

This.

Rodon throwing lots of pitches that could be a strike but not called

Another 2 out run allowed.

Here come the dead Astros

I've never really paid attention to it until this game, but good lord, Navarro is a horrible pitch framer and has lost at least 5-10 strikes for Rodon in this game alone.

Keuchel is back

Of course good Keuchel has arrived just in time for the Sox.
