Well I thought he'd strike out swinging not looking, so it was still a surprise for me.

That was just ridiculous. Sands against a righty who throws a lot of fastballs. This bench construction has made no sense all year.

Great decision to really just kill an inning.

Eaton has been just atrocious the last few weeks. Either a strike out or ground out it seems. Average down to almost .270

Hopefully Abreu runs into one.

Avi or Rollins against a fastball throwing righty aren't exactly great choices either.

Reminds me a bit of Puig. Come into the league as an absolute beast, and then never make the adjustments to the league while your bat speed disappears.

It would nice if they had a hitting coach that could bring him out of this soon.

We do have a 26 year old tearing up triple A though. Would rather it be do or die time for Coats rather than Sands (and Coats isn't exactly a guy you need to protect).
