For those who care about our attendance numbers being low, you should see the A's game tonight... it's practically empty. Probably because Warriors/Cavs is next door

Managers going out and throwing fits are just silly really.

This would be sooo White Sox to comeback within 1 twice & go 9 up, 9 down in the final 3 innings to lose it.

No it would be so White Sox to tie it, go into extra innings and then lose

In any other context, someone standing less than a foot away from your face and screaming would be classified as bullying, or whatever synonym you want to use. It looks normal to you because baseball managers have always done it, but for someone like me who just came into baseball in the last 3 years, it looks absurd.

No bullying in baseball.

He got thrown out when he was in the dugout. It is automatic when you argue balls and strikes although they usually give you a little leeway if you are chirping from the dugout. Once your tossed, you might as well get your money's worth. It may get you a call later especially if you are like Robin and not always screaming.

No I get it, I just disagree with the bolded logic. I just don't see the point of getting right up in their face and screaming. Wouldn't it be just as effective to go out there and just say it to them? Hell shout if you want. But what's the need to put your face a foot away from theirs and scream straight into it? Alright if it was a one-off from someone who completely lost their head but it's done so often and it's just baffling to me as an outsider.

He was going to score

The RFer got the ball in to quick

It seems this isn't the sport for you.

All managers get into these things with umps and get ejected, but Robin can barely be bothered to stay awake let alone "bully" anybody. LOL.

It was really funny to hear Robin be called a bully. In his professional career - he's actually famous for getting his ass kicked by a "bully" pitcher when he started it.

Not gonna help much when you roll over and hit week ground balls to 3rd so often

I must be missing something, because when I look up Frazier's BABIP, it says .191 coming into this game...maybe I missed the point of everyone always bringing up BABIP when 90% of the board says Frazier is headed to Uecker-ville, average wise.

It's not Robin - it's everyone. I just think it's stupid.

Good range Anderson

Anderson looked good there

Tim looked pretty ok there...

Albers actually looks good today

Timmy with the range. Looks good!

Great frame try by Navarro there.

Albers with a very encouraging outing there. 94-95 consistently with movement.

Albers is back

Good outing for Albers. Let's get a run here. Good to have Navarro leading off as he's been great today

Nice job by Fat Albers.

Now go win this...Detroit bullpen sucks.

High theatre tonight at the Cell

That was by far the most passion Robin has shown as w manager. It only took like twenty loses in four weeks. Too little to late, brother.

Also, that crazy bully Robin Ventura was ejected.

Josh Phegley's hitting .308, fwiw.

I would rather see Albers bat than Shuck
