Love to see that from Anderson

If I am right, that is 50% of Anderson's games he has 2 or more hits

Throwing five straight fastballs at Anderson...not a great idea.

That's one area he has an advantage, middle relievers don't have the confidence to go to their offspeed stuff consistently.

Timmy with an 802 OPS without the benefit of a walk in that line.

This game quickly became blowout city.

Dat speed do

This run support would have been nice for Q..

There really is no reason to not have Saladino play 3B, Todd at 1b with Abreu at DH for the next little while, see what happens.

I'm all for that.

Yeah, not sure where Coats/Davidson would get playing time with Abreu at DH. There's no way either one can get into an offensive rhythm without playing 4-5 times per week minimum. We already know what we have with Avi and Shuck, there's no remaining mystery there. Need to send Coats back down and let him play everyday again.

At any rate, as long as Saladino can hold his own offensively (low 700+ OPS), that defensively alignment in the infield is probably our best one.

Interesting how the team scores like crazy but hardly anyone posts about it, but yesterday when the team didn't score, there was all sorts of posting about it..................

I can see it for sure if Abreu is having leg issues. He could use time off the field to rest those sore legs

Welcome to Soxtalk!

Wow...if anyone would have predicted at the beginning of the year that Junior Guerra would be the one we'd rue (the most) for getting away....he's currently shutting out the Dodgers in the 7th.

3.29 ERA, 7 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 7 K's

About to have a 5-1 record for a pretty so-so Brewers team.

Dfa him before the second inning please

I love reading the game threads after the fact.

Its amazing how short they are when the sox are actually winning.

People enjoy b****ing and complaining.. even to b**** and complain about the b****ing and complaining.

Sure seems like every time Albers comes in with base runners they score.

Not tonite

Lovin the hustle and The offense. Shields looked good out there

Breaking News: Todd Frazier doubles

It's almost more fun to see a double for Frazier than a homer.

If Lawrie could limit the K's a bit, he'd be a petty valuable hitter. Right now, he's basically league average.

The Sox last 13 homers have been solos. It's a league wide epidemic. Homers are up this year but their has been. Spike in solos.

Lots of hard hit outs tonight which is great to see

Some of these guys are due for positive regression (Frazier, Abreu, Navarro). If we can add an OF and somehow improve the DH spot internally through Morneau and/or Davidson, the lineup & bench could be vastly improved. Hahn needs to get on the phone ASAP though, because as currently constructed the lineup has way too many holes.

Makes you wonder what's up with that?

Ynoa gets quite the wicked movement on that gyro slurve ball
