Its a real shame they only have a handful of games on csn or wgn. Remember the 05-06 seasons where you had 15-20 st games on tv? And this reductionmakes less sense now that mlb networks will simulcast as many spring games as possible, thus the sox are forgoing free advertising on a national level.

Forgot the green?

Nope. Meaningless baseball on the radio is brutal. Especially when I'm looking forward to listening to B & B on my commute home, and instead it's a bunch of minor leaguers playing ball. I understand how people watch on TV, but spring training on the radio kills me.

Hm. I'd rather listen to Brittany Spears singing while scratching her nails on a chalkboard than listen to sports talk radio, but I guess that's where we disagree.

I don't disagree with you at all about the game, but B&B are the WORST. Oh my god they're excruciating.

Why would you do that? Arrogance, holier than thou attitude, pretense of knowledge? I got to admit I listen on occasion for entertainment value of listening to them make idiots of themselves but usually it's a tough listen.

Yeah, just about anything is better than your average Chicago sports radio buffoon.

Personally I wish they would just televise the B games & the minor league scrimmages/etc. in general. I have literally no interest in watching veteran MLB hitters watch pitches or veteran MLB pitchers through 9 straight change-ups. Let me see the arms on these prospects, their defense, baserunning, etc.

Yeah, I unfortunatelt listen to them daily due to my lengthy commute, but good god do they piss me off. Bernstein is a smug know-it-all, while Boers is just a bumbling idiot.

They can be funny at times, but I'd honestly prefer a lame spring training game just for some White Sox discussion.

Totally agree, seeing and hearing about the prospects are the best part of a spring training telecast.

You meant "make idiots of callers" because many of them are indeed some of the dumbest people in Chicago.

B and B know more about sports than anyone else on 670 or 1000, they just talk about random stuff a lot of the time - which sometimes is epic.
