  1. Past hour

  2. I don't think it tracks anything over 107 mph.
  3. Moving on up Will be fun to get some Statcast data on him
  4. Shades of James Shields' last start as a Padre
  5. He's not hurt. His swing speed is the same as it it's been and the play he made in the 10th isn't made with a bad back. He's just an extremely pull happy power hitter that to this point in his career has not been able to adjust to the adjustments. His true talent is probably like 3 WAR. He was playing like a 6 WAR superstar for 50 games, things happen. Hell just two weeks ago it looked like Chase Meidroth was gonna finish around 1.5 fWAR, now he's cruising towards 3+. Players rise and fall. Right now Colson is falling, but it's not forever.
  6. Might be time to bump that Fire Getz thread again.
  7. That would explain the errors I think.
  8. To be frank, I am more worried that Colson is hurt than I am anything else.
  9. Apparently Chris Getz doesn't agree with you.
  10. You’re projecting them to have a .777 winning percentage in one-run games. That would be the best winning percentage in the history of the game (Rangers 36-11 in 2016). The Sox have also scored the most runs in the AL. They’re doing something right!
  11. A troubling stat is that Colson has never hit over.250 in any season above A ball going on 6 years! Will so much SS talent in the system, his Sox (&MLB) future could be short-lived if he can't figure out how to hit in professional baseball. His swing has become so reckless and he is completely lost at the plate.
  12. Dude, you need to learn that not everyone has the same opinions as you. If somebody calling the White Sox mediocre triggers you that much look in the mirror, because I'm not pressed about it.
  13. He also said "I'm used to being mediocre because I'm a Sox fan" or some s%*# and got really upset that people thought the Sox had a decent enough June. He is the king of "lighten up."
  14. Mets doing Mets s%*#. I don't really want this guy unless it's for someone of no real consequence and we eat some salary.
  15. Actually, you're not allowed to think that on here.
  16. Sure, but Peralta sucks. If it's, like, Wolkow and Smith for Goodman...nice knowin ya, guys.
  17. Exactly. The odds are this season will end in an excruciating defeat (as a University of Wisconsin and Green Bay Packers fan I know of excruciating defeats) so let the joy of the regular season run through you! This is fun!
  18. lol last week weren’t you getting annoyed about CST? Come on man I’m just trying to say we don’t need “DONT LOSE” at the beginning of a game thread
  19. The black eye isn’t their preformance in close games - it is their production with RISP and less than two outs. If they had better production in that regard, they’d likely be something like 28-8 in one run games and our division lead would be somewhere around 5 games.
  20. Sometimes it feels like you forget you are on a messageboard of like minded individuals who have all been lifelong fans and have seen all the bullshit you have seen. I think this is a ride you need to start enjoying for the scenery and stop worrying about where and how it ends
  21. Its not realistic yet theyve already been swept by the Rays IN Chicago. Right...Everybody needs to lighten up its not that serious.
  22. In Peralta’s last 4 games he has: 5.1 IP / 7 ER 4.1 IP / 2 ER 4.2 IP / 1 ER 4 IP / 5 ER If we are looking to UPGRADE our rotation with pitchers that can give us length and keep us in games… I really do not understand why anyone would want this to be one of our new guys. I wouldn’t give up even Wolkow’s jock strap for him. What indication do we have that we’re going to get the Peralta of the past? PASS.
