    Groovy!!!
  3. Braden at least gives you good ABs even though he's struggling lately, Colson swings at terrible pitches and watches pitches right down the middle too often but Mune is just scuffling big time right now. If I were Getz, I would definitely hold off on that extension.
  4. Thorpe no longer listed as tonight's starter for Charlotte, so maybe you still see him this trip @hi8is
  5. Hicks had a clean inning if Colson turns the DP. Gilbert is only up as a fill in for Schweitzer going on the paternity list (congrats to him), probably doesn't even see the end of this road trip.
  6. I must say I was surprised to turn on the radio and have Len say his name.....for a quick moment I thought "Oh good, is he on the Twins now?"
  7. Sox just outsmarted themselves with this opener. Hicks had a good month. Now he's back to form, sadly. Why is Tyler Gilbert doing on the 26 man? Do they really need another lefty who tops out at 92?
  8. Kind of a shame. A small thing, I guess, but I always thought it was the gentlemanly thing to do.
  9. These guys are constantly looking at their I Pads in the dugout, why can’t they figure things out.
  10. Colson Montgomery, Mune and Braden Montgomery haven't been hitting. Perhaps its time to move Peters up in the lineup.
  11. Urquidy It's not a common surname in Mexico, not like mine, Gutierrez
  12. Also had a double earlier.
  13. 3 games off the schedule and they have they picked up a game on Cleveland, but offense needs to get in gear against Houston. Murakami does not look dangerous at all at the plate. That really needs to change. Coulda shoulda, but this might have been a different game if they complete that double play in the 1st.
  14. Both Colson and Mune have been rally killers lately Colson has shown some signs of life though but man, Mune is straight up trash right now
  15. Samad Taylor...poor kid Sheets and Rengifo both to IL
  16. Can't even center cut it better than that...
  17. Oh well - go get em tomorrow and the SWEEP THE CENTRAL CAMPAIGN RESETS on September 4th. Go get another series win in Houston!
  18. Shutdown by a terrible pitcher who wasn't even that good today.
  19. Those were some awful swings by Colson
  20. Padres challenged (tag play), call on the field was upheld: Jase Bowen caught stealing 3rd base, catcher Liam Hicks to third baseman Junior Caminero. 2 Outs Going from bad to worse...
  21. Fastball down the middle to end it.
  22. Only the second HR allowed by Miller this season, both in the last week SD doesn't score the free runner top 10
  23. To be honest if God asked me if I would take the Sox winning 2/3 and getting shut out in the only loss, I would take it in a heartbeat
  24. Padres' LF Taylor had a ball land in his glove hit by DeLuca right down the LF line for what should have been out of bot 9 ... glove hits top of fence and then the ball falls out. Only Miller's second blown save of the season. WC lead on the line...hard to imagine SD coming back now, but stranger things have happened in baseball.
