I think that “fine” is an apt descriptor and it explains the 21st ranking

To me, his broadcasting is fine. It’s when he tries to be Mr. Homer and go over the top with things that he’s just awful. So just stop doing that. I say “fine,” meaning he is okay. He could learn a little more about the game and about the other teams and players; or at least share more during the broadcast.

being completely neutral about it, you also have to wonder if Schriffen thinks the juice is worth the squeeze with how he perceives he has been treated by media and fanbase. He started a lot of fires at the beginning which basically has resulted in him not being on local radio for spots much if at all. He has gotten better the last two seasons but the broadcast ratings are in the 20s after having some highly rated booths for a while. Schriffen has options and relationships with other leagues so him leaving and both sides mutually agreeing would not surprise me at all. Regardless, this booth is probably going to be different in the next couple years. Stone is going to retire at some point, they have been rotating a lot of the same people in and out, they are showing us options. For a while this board was sure it was gonna be Gordon, now a lot of people are leaning Plesac. Wouldn’t surprise me if McGuffey gets a shot, I actually have appreciated him a lot more since he left the score, I like his host and between innings stuff a lot

It goes down smooth for me with a Gumballhead or Jungle Boogie. I'm ready to eat some more crow for Doyle or Acuna whenever they are ready to oblige.

Entering the latest gauntlet last weekend the Sox had a 2 1/2 game lead on the division....it is now 4 1/2. Somehow they just keep getting it done.

I definitely agree it’s financial. you have to think midday is dragging everyone down, they need to bring in someone who is going to make it pop.

It's tough to see favs get let go. Brian Hanely was really good, and now Mully. I enjoy Haugh, to me he is very professional. I am curious who they team him up with.

I am a fan of Ryan McGuffey, he is likable, knowledgeable and passionate, so he fits the bill.

That’s surprising. I feel like it has to be a financial decision only. Mully was like the only mainstay left.
