Interesting… Will saying in the post game that he went out “with urgency” while “forgetting there had already been a visit” because of an appeal play. Apparently he thought someone hadn’t touched a bag in the first. 1.) If that was the case, couldn’t he have appealed directly to the umpire crew himself instead of going to the mound? 2.) Wonder what would have happened today if that appeal was won and the game was 1-0 after the first. Probably still would have lost because Schultz looked like hot garbage today.

Yeah maybe there's something suspicious but their stretch seems too good to be a result of cheating. I thought it turned out that the trashcan Astros were hitting better on the road anyway but I might be misremembering.

Ungodly pathetic. Tomorrow legit feels like the season is on the line. This team just looks absolutely out of it. Couldn't be more disappointed in the effort.

Yeah, when an insane burst of production happens, it's most probably regression to the mean. When Brady Anderson hits 50 HRs after never having cleared 21, that makes you go "hmmmm". It's not a conspiracy theory to wonder. It's weird when the attention junkies rise up and demand everybody prove that games that end in a victory weren't the result of cheating.

When did they find out he wasn’t performing and when did they notify the fans? If they waited to inform the crowd in a untimely manner in order to keep the concession stands humming they should be called out.

The less said about this game the better. More importantly Noah Schultz should not be in the starting rotation. If they can't bring up anybody from the minors to start, the simple solution is to put Fedde back in the starting rotation.
