  2. I'm not sure what I hate more...Manfred ball or bullpen games.
  3. I don't want to blame Ron if this team falters, but I will damnit.
  4. We've discussed this, professional sports is literally the safest and best performing investment a moneyed entity could make. Long gone are the days of it being a vanity purchase. There's no reason to believe Ishbia is any different from these entities, these dudes want to make money above anything else. If it's more profitable to move the team and never sign huge free agent contracts, that's almost certainly what he's gonna do.
  5. It's not a very vibrant color for sure.
  6. In before Ron can derail us, let's get back on the right track!
  7. sportico list from March going by Lakers and Padres' deals...looking at 25-30% over these valuations right now in August New York Yankees: $9.4 billion/$11.75 projected Los Angeles Dodgers: $9.05 billion/$11.3125 billion Boston Red Sox: $6.65 billion/$8.3125 Chicago Cubs: $6.48 billion/$8.1 billion San Francisco Giants: $4.36 billion/$5.45 billion Atlanta Braves: $4.11 billion/$5.14 billion Philadelphia Phillies: $3.75 billion/$4.69 billion Houston Astros: $3.65 billion/$4.56 billion New York Mets: $3.58 billion/$4.0-4.25 billion San Diego Padres: $3.1 billion (sold for $3.9 billion)
  8. Nothing about Teal has been impressive.
  9. Smith is so bad. Bringing him up is not the correct move

  12. Would imagine it's just as much for benefits/health care...
  13. Back up or third string QB syndrome...
  14. The Bullpen is a toasted cesspool. He has no good choices right now.
  15. He also was on Jeopardy recently
  16. Let’s call it multiple glaring questions then. Sure, Venable’s decision making leaves a lot to be desired, but pitchers also gotta figure how to not be bad.
  17. Fascinating watching how the Tribune and Sun-Times are operating under Alden Capital and Chicago Public Media, respectively.
  18. The glaring question is the Manager, who leaves them in too long.
  19. This man says violent diarrhea is a better choice than a Davis Martin start
  20. I would take my chances with a Taylor Farm salad to be less harmful over the next Davis Martin start.
  21. I never really paid attention to the Yankees catchers. Whoa are they are feeble.
  22. Since the standings and play have me in a optimistic mood. Maybe the Yankees give us a challenge for worst catcher among the playoff likely teams, the solution is actually on the roster. Just needs rest and rehab. Corner outfield there are solutions in the organization, they need time to develop. Shortstop, again in the organization, just needs a year or probably two. Will injuries heal? Will players develope as predicted? The answers are out of front office control, but the plan is coming together.
