  2. Its the kind of energy that trash like Jose Ramirez breeds on a baseball team he leads. That dude has the biggest ego I have seen for being on a team that is consistently shown that they just aren't that good in the playoffs. Can't wait to see his dumb ass "how did this happen" face after they get destroyed by TB.
  3. You know we led the AL in walks this year. Sorry these facts don't fit your narrative.
  4. I think the pressure got to them. They led the AL in walks this year. Fine with K's as long as it's supplemented by walks.
  5. White Sox won with class. They don't. They'll get swept by the Rays.
  6. Chicago set record for tourist spending in 2025, Choose Chicago tourism bureau says - CBS Chicago 56.8 million visitors in 2025. The world likes us, they really, really like us.
  7. https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/s/2NbJfzpPGK Between this and the Spirit Halloween post, I hope the Guardians get thrashed. They're such losers at heart.
  8. Super bummed, pissed it was the Guardians and that f*** JRam, but still proud of this team doing the unexpected and pulling as all with them
  9. Everyone for the most part held up the truce, thank you to the entire board for making an effort with this. Hopefully next season we can have a similar truce for a similar reason, but until then everyone go ahead and start arguing to your lil hearts content
  10. I agree . I don't think that people are upset the went down to Cleveland it's more how they did and how they will be remembered now
  11. Right so my point is did ownership do enough to get over the hump. Answer is no
  12. Twas a very fun season that vastly exceeded my expectations in numerous ways. Had you told me in February that they'd be in contention for the division until they very last series of the season, make the playoffs, win a round, and be on the brink of the ALCS I would've taken it 100 times out of 100....with that being said, going out how they did (to Cleveland of all teams) was certainly a gut punch and their weaknesses got very exposed in those losses. But for a team that wasn't supposed to be here at all, I'll take it.
  13. Lol Jerry can play Drums in Shatners Metal band..... I heard Jerry got some mean blast beats lol
  14. A fair amount of winning seasons but short on playoff appearances. The aughts White Sox teams were always competitive, for the most part.
  15. Playoffs: 83, 93, 00, 05, 08,20, 21, 26 Is 8 playoff appearances good enough in 47 years? And out of those 8 they only advanced twice. 05 and 26
  16. Those numbers on playoff apperances and winning seasons are telling about ownership and the org. How many winning seasons and playoff appearances does this ownership have in almost 47years ...
  17. I really would like to hear what Will or someone from the org has to say about this. Someone should ask them about how or why all these strikeouts all of a sudden happened. We all can speculate but I’d love to hear it from the horse’s mouth.
  18. Meidroth took a swing last night that if he hadn't taken the swing would have hit him in the head.
  19. I’ll make it simple. No.
  20. 105 wRC+ in first half. 105 wRC+ in second half. Amazing job by the league to figure out the white Sox.
  21. He's giving over control By 2029. We just need him to realize that he should spend time As a fan next year.
  22. It was a really cool season and fun. Again as we Sox fans know the incompetence and frugalness of ownership will not do nothing to take the next step. So that's why Sox fans get how they get when they lose like they did last night. It could be another 10 years.....
  23. You missed the point. Maybe read the room, see it's an appreciation post, and save it?
  24. Today

  25. One of the guys I was hanging out with at the bar last night never saw 2005, which blew my mind and made me feel old as hell. But listening to how much he loved this team.... this is different than 2021. It's more sustainable and we have a better front office. I think this team truly showed the best of us as human beings. Cannot wait for next year.
  26. I don't get this mindset at all. Because the White Sox didn't try this year (low payroll, zero investment at the deadline) setting a low bar of expectations, and because they've been historically bad the years prior, we should be happy with the year. It feels like a huge loser mindset. Most even talk about this rebuild like it was better than the last because of this 84 win season in an AL that's the worst it's been in my life. They choked the division, and then choked the playoff series. But sure, tell me how this is different and deserves admiration. It's legit disappointing to see so many people adjust their expectations just because the Sox became an embarrassment of an org. I'll add, definitely some fun moments and the players deserved more.
  27. Sucks they lost the series how they did, especially with whatever the hell the offense was doing in the last game, but a great season all together and most fun since 2005. As for whatever is next - you just can’t have this many guys in the lineup that strike out to this degree. Either approaches need to change or guys need to be shifted out.
