I'm gonna go ahead and just say that Steven Wilson was not a key piece of the Cease deal.

I would have thought that 199 PAs would be long enough for the league to take notice and develop an approach to him, and maybe his .227 BA and .288 OBP is the league adjusting to him. He'd have to show some growth over the winter and start getting on base regularly next year. You can't just live off of mistakes, but Paul DeJong still gets rostered.
