On the pitching side, Payton Pallette had a nice AAA season. Yoendrys Gomes started 11 games in AAA and basically won him a rotation spot on the big club.

I guess if a player's going to get PAs in a "major league" game, he has to be assigned to major league camp. And then when he's done, they reassign him to minor league camp.

I don't think Arizona's throwing a single projected starter out there, today. McCann is their backup catcher.

I think the point of the series is not to highlight the obvious core pieces (Monty, Teel, etc), but the role players who could provide value around the stars. The successful teams need a bunch of 2-WAR guys just to fill the holes.
