  1. Oh, I mix their names up. Changed it. Nobody's saying that Rojas is being moved either, so dry your tears, little one. Yeah, most baseball players change positions and are sometimes moved to a position that's open. That happens a lot in baseball. I guess you can high-five somebody about your victory in seeing that. You have a link to the wrong ball player under your mention of Meidroth.
  2. I'll leave the truly childish anti-White Sox swipes for you to giggle at, alone.
  3. You have no idea if that was available. That's the fun part about trade rumors. One team floats BS to keep their own fans happy. You conveniently forgot to mention that Keaschall didn't play in the majors last year. Hey, a White Sox fan may work from sun to sun, but a Chris Getz whiner's work is never done!
  4. What in the world are you talking about? Are you referencing your whining about now being able to bet money on White Sox parlays without being 100% sure you will win? How is that an attack?
  5. Wait a minute. LOL. Are you actually saying that by adding Jake McCarthy, the White Sox would have been 8 wins better? Dude, lay off the sake. You should probably look into the reasons that the Keaschall mega-deal never got passed the first phone call, instead of just pretending that somebody made up excuses. The Twins wanted the Sox to pay down most Fedde's ridiculously low contract for....reasons. Then they told their favorite media mouthpiece to say the Sox just didn't want to trade within the division for...reasons. Weird how you don't actually deal with any factual information. I guess you have your....reasons.
  6. Who says Rojas is being moved? He's mentioned in your article as "a possibility". And you do realize that Connor Meidroth is a different person from Chase Meidroth, right? You link to the former's TBC page.
  7. So, you're one of Reinsdorf's zombie slaves? Weird. Most people can just take responsibility for their own actions.
  8. This certainly seems to be a walk-back from "will have every chance to start opening day"...
  9. Seems to have made an impression on you.
  10. Yeah, you can highlight the years in B-R. It summarizes. EDIT: oops. late to the party.
  11. Sosa isn't an exceptionally thoughtful fielder. Fangraphs and UZR seem to like him more as a 3B than a 2B. Maybe his range is limited (he's considered a slightly below average base-runner). I think he definitely starts in the 3B/DH mix. I can't see a 99 RC+ Andrew Vaughn being asked back for 2026, so maybe Sosa gravitates towards 1B with Vargas? Between 2B, 3B and DH, there will be enough PAs for Vargas, Sosa, Meidroth and Rojas.
  12. Only if he also makes the cover of Sports Illustrated.
  13. Good thing they cleaned house, then.
  14. If somebody was constantly arguing dumb things because their kids can't handle being jeered by their friends over a $150 jersey, yeah, I would suggest therapy. What I wrote wasn't "taking a shot" at his kids. Perhaps BELIEVE dude could use a couple of sessions to learn how to calm down when life doesn't go his way. Pretending you're a violent tough guy is pretty much frowned upon in real life, also.
  15. When somebody whines about the same dumb thing for over a week, then blames it on their kids, then your main reason for the dumb thing you want will be mentioned back. Nobody "took shots" at your kids. You brought it into play.
  16. I think the Chicago Dogs should sign Alonso and Kim. Sounds like they're raking it in hand over fist.
  17. Marinaccio actually looked pretty interesting. I wonder why they're so stuck on Scholtens.
  18. Maybe instead of going on about Reinsdorf making dumb FA signings so your kids aren't embarrassed, you should send them to therapy to learn how to deal with other children mocking their own choices. Do you demand that Chicago move it's entire self to Florida when other children mock your kids for living in a city where it drops down to negative temperatures?
  19. Ron Marinaccio DFAed. That's a bit of a surprise.
  20. The 2022 White Sox had an opening day payroll of $193,370,219 (7th highest), and $181,158,666 (13th highest) in 2021, as per Cots. So, the weirdness is explained away by the fact that they do spend.
  21. Whatever. You can play the "everybody on the Sox will always suck" game, if you want. I was answering your fear that the Sox might be relying on an untested rookie to lead the staff in 26. One of those 4 pitchers is going to acquit themselves during the 25 season.
  22. Unless they're traded, one of Cannon, Martin, Thorpe or Burke will be the go to guy, opening day, 2026.
  23. They just picked up their interim CF in Myles Straw.
  24. MLBTR probably has a lawyer on retainer who gives them regular advice on what they can and can't post. The article link you posted explains what you can and can't do. But you're opening SoxTalk up to legal trouble if they don't take your stuff down. The point is to stay under the radar, not push the boundaries. Disney don't play.
  25. I'm not a mod, but a short blurb of a sentence or two is allowable under fair use. When you post multiple paragraphs from a copyrighted story, you're putting this site in legal liability. It's really no joke. That, and it makes the string really hard to follow. Also, dropping the paywall doesn't matter. It's ESPN's property. Even free, they still want the clicks.
